The October 2010 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting had a picture of a quilt that looked like Granny Squares, you know, the crochet afghan type of blanket. It was beautiful.
Soon after the magazine was received in the mail, a member of my "bee" called me and said that she had found that one of our favorite quilt shops, Homestead Hearth, was going to offer this quilt as a Block A Month. There are nine members in my bee. Five of us signed up immediately and a sixth member is working on one from her stash. Each month Homestead Hearth sends us enough fabric to complete 3 blocks. Below you will see a picture of the blocks I have completed so far. www.homesteadhearth.com
